It is important that care is taken when measuring horses, to ensure the correct size cover is supplied and fits the horse. We especially request measurements for all miniature horses, small pony breeds and donkey covers.

5'-5'3"		 1- If you have a Goodwood cover, you will be able to reorder from the size you have.

2- Check old covers actually measure to the size they were originally purchased at. There can be variations.

3- How does the old cover fit? Does it need to be longer or shorter? Is the neck a neat fit?

A to B The length of the back in a straight line from wither to tail.
B to C The neck measurement is critical for a rub-free fit. Measure from the centre of the wither along the base of the neck to the centre of the chest, in front of shoulder line. On the side only. This is required for the custom made covers of all horse types, but not necessary for standard covers.
E to D This is the 'drop' or depth of the cover, and is required only for miniature and pony breeds. Measure from center.
Neck Covers Measure from halter to wither along ridge of neck. We can fit the neck covers from these measurements.

If you are having difficulty in measuring your horse we can supply cotton sizing covers to try. These will enable you to decide if a standard cover fits or a custom made is required. The freight cost of returning these covers is at the enquirers expense.

Available to customers in New Zealand only.
Covers to be returned within one week.


-1- The cover is too big or small.
-2- The cover is of poor design or manufacture.
-3- The horse, due to conformation, possibly needs a custom cover.
